Join the Iowa Sociological Association for our Annual Undergraduate Research Conference. Registration and the Call for Papers will be coming soon!! Students are welcomed and encouraged to present all research topics!
We are excited to welcome Keynote Speaker Chris Morris, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Iowa State University. Dr. Morris’ presentation is titled, "Making Connections: Insights on Navigating Career Paths and Research Tracks.”
We are also excited to welcome City of Ames Engagement Coordinator Casandra Eames as our Student Workshop Leader. Casandra’s workshop, “From Detention Officer to Engagement Coordinator: Exploring Opportunities in Sociology,” will be an engaging and practical experience for students to explore careers in sociology.
